"And They're Off!!!!"
The Kentucky Derby is such an elegant and extraordinary time of year for the city of Louisville, KY. Many come from near and far (internationally) annually to compete, spectate, or participate in the 2 week festivities. Literally everyday there is an event leading up to the actual Derby day. Gazing out of my office window I witnessed John Snyder; You know the owner of Papa John's Pizza, transporting close family and friends on his private helicopter to the corporate office across the street. I have recently learned myself, there are actually multiple races that occur. However the big "Giddy Up" occurs on Derby Saturday. That's right Big Hats & Big Bets. Rumor has it someone bet $4 bucks and went home $78K richer!
